Do lots of people getaddison's disease, or is it unusual?

Specializes in Pediatric Urology

Not many people: Quite unusual, although president john f. Kennedy was most famous person who had it. It is due to the adrenal gland producing insufficient cortisone and leaving subject extremely weak and developing skin hyperpigmentation. Managed by endocrinologists and controlled by oral steroid medication.
