Varies: There are some studies that use stem cells for wound healing, but for specific avn of talus, data is lacking. If true avn, it's a wait and see period. If your body can re-supply the talus with blood, then no further treatment needed. Stem cells have yet to show any talar avn benefit. Sorry.

None: Unfortunately at this time there isn't enough studies with stem cells working on bone though research is ongoing. Suggest to check if the rest of the limb has normal blood flow. If it does more time may be your answer.
