AVN: Well it depends on the displacement of the fracture. If the two pieces are too far apart then surgical intervention is necessary otherwise this will never heal. Keys things are talking with your surgeon and discussing surgery. No smoking and possibly using a bone stimulator.

Need to follow up : With podiatry or orthopedist...It depends what kind of fracture ...You may need surgery or a below knee cast. It is unclear from the question if the a vascular necrosis is the same or different bone then the fracture.
