See details: That is a tough one because many uninformed people believe fibromyalgia is an imaginary disease. Tell them how you feel and how much it hurts you that they are not supportive. Support groups: To rapidly educate anyone about misery suffered with fibromyalgia (FM) send them to several internet support groups for hour. They will hear constant refrain that the fibromyalgia person's body has a font of energy that can be likened to several hand-held spoons; more spoons used up in one day leaves less for next day. This concept is origin of name "spoonies" oft applied to women with FM.
