See a spine doctor: Middle back pain in a young man is almost always mechanical back pain (not from a disc injury or a nerve injury). It should get better from a simple course of treatment with physical therapy.

Back pain: The back pain can be caused by muscle strain, spinal stenosis, ruptured disc, nerve impingement ... Neck and low back pain can cause radiating pain as well. Please see a pain specialist for evaluation. You might benefit from therapy.
