A member asked:

What is done to lower my chances of getting crohn's disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nothing.: Unfortunately it can't be prevented as the cause is not known. Once you develop the disease there are ways you can reduce the severity of the disease. Diffetent meds can be used to keep the disease in remission and prevent flare ups. Stay healthy with regular exercise, eat healthy and avoid smoking.
