Yes: Depending on the degree of loss of innervation continence may be achieved, but it may take time, patience, good diet, stool softeners and therapy. Through proper physical therapy and training, bowel control may be attained. Remember there may be poor nerve conduction to these areas so results of therapy could be poor.
