Local oncologists: Dear KayleyC123, If a significant radiation exposure has potentially occurred, you need to see a physician as soon as possible. The most likely course would be to go the ER and have them consult a radiation oncologist and medical oncologist. A radiation safety officer can also be consulted by the physicians. Dose estimates need to be made to determine if acute care is needed. Hope this helps.
