random irregular hard heart beat, dizziness, an seeing stars happens when sitting, standing, or just relaxing?

Numerous causes: Palpitations can be caused by extra early beats from either the top or bottom of the heart. They may also be due to a very fast heart rhythm. Sometimes the sensation of palpitation is not due to the heart, but to other causes such as stress. Fatigue, caffeine, drugs, and metabolic problems such as too high of a thyroid level can be a cause. An event monitor can be helpful to find out the cause.

Dizziness: Need more information. How old are you? Do you have any trouble e.g. Thyroid or diabetes? Are you having regular periods? Please send in more information so we can help you. Meanwhile cut down or cutout so many sweets as this may be the cause. If rapid heart beat persists call your doctor right away to get a check up.

I'm dizzy with strong heart beats, shallow breath?

Please see doc: When someone tells me they have strong heart beats (which can mean palpitations or skipped beats or even a racing heart) and shallow breath- without any further information- my answer is to see a doctor as soon as possible. There are many things that can cause this - but we worry about bad things with the heart and lungs. 911 or emergency room, please seek help immediately.

A 16-year-old female asked:
What is wrong with me my heart is beating slow and i sometimes feel dizzy?

Needs evaluation: I see you list CPR and heart surgery in your procedures so i assume you have a congenital heart issue? If that's so, you may be having a pathological bradycardia (excessively slow heart rate). You really should be evaluated. If proven, it's very treatable (with a pacemaker). A 24 hour or 30 day (whichever is needed to catch your rhythm) recording would be able to discern what's going on.

Slow pulse: Get to an emergency room as soon as possible. Get a ride there from your parents or a friend or call 911. Do not drive there. You need to have an ekg and tests to see what slow cardiac rhythm you have and how it can be treated. Good luck.
