Yeast Infection: You can treat the yeast infection during your period. Typically the infection is treated with a one time dose of fluconazole. It could be a urinary tract infection, allergies, etc. Ask your gynecologist.

Maybe: One of the benefits of Diflucan (fluconazole) for yeast treatment is that it is an oral medication. If using a vaginal medication, women may need to wait until their period ends to get the full effectiveness needed to clear the infection. This is not true if Diflucan (fluconazole) is used.
