The Yeast Is Least: Typically a purely "yeast" infection does not have a very bad smell. It may have an unusual odor but not very disturbiing. They do itch and can also burn. The odor is a tip-off to another infection, probably bacteria. There are over-the-counter medications for itchy yeast, but not the bacteria. Go see your doctor for that....Now...

Vaginitis: Bad odor from vagina indicate vaginitis that can be caused by bacterial vaginosis or trichomonas vaginitis. Recommend to check with your PCP.
