A member asked:

Had std testing (blood draw) done for hiv which was "non reactive". i have eye floaters and lately white rings/ coated tongue. what is going on?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vitreous detachment: Floaters are usually secondary to vitreous detachment from the retina. This is a normal aging process and it can start as early as teens in a highly nearsighted person to into the 60's. But when you first notice it u need to see an eye md to make sure there are no retinal tears. Your mouth lesions may be candida and from a lot of stress and not necessarily HIV related. See your primary md.
