Reply.: Depends upon what symptoms your son had. If diarrhea then it could be enteritis. Also x rays are not good studies to look for intestinal inflammation. Yes constipation/ stool impact ion can be picked up on x ray, intestinal obstruction can be appreciated.Appendicitis not very common at this early age. Hope that helps.
