Infected wound: Are you sure about a wound 'infection'? You should not attempt to make this decision yourself. Bacteria are all over the body and are certainly in your wound but there is a difference between colonized and infected. In fact, the presence of bacterial colonization may be favorable according to the research. Have this examined by a wound clinician to help decide if this requires an antibiotic soon.
