Get evaluated: You will probably have an ultrasound done and if a nodule is confirmed a needle biopsy is frequently done to determine further action.

See your doctor: If you have a thyroid nodule, you need the proper evaluation with a history, physical exam, and proper testing. It may be something that can be treated medically. It might even need surgery. Please see your doctor as soon as possible.
