A member asked:

Several adenomatous nodules on my thyroid measuring up to 0.4cm should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Nodules in the thyroid are common and people tend to get more as they get older. 90-95% are not cancerous and if the largest is 0.4cm then it is too small to even biopsy. D/w your doctor but no need to worry, just have a repeat ultrasound in 6-12 mths to make sure the nodules are not growing.
