Yes...: Pid is a diagnosis made by visually looking in the pelvis at surgery or by documenting fever, pelvic organ tenderness, elevated white blood cells and/or elevated ESR (blood test to check inflammation). Chlamydia can be present without causing pid and pid can be caused by infections that are not chlamydia. If you have pid and a positive chlamydia test, i would blame chlamydia for it. Good luck!
