Ok: First ensure the diagnosis is accurate. Not all symptoms in the leg are sciatica. Good thing is you may successfully manage your symptoms with conservative options including anti-inflammatories (nsaids) if you have no medical contraindications, at times adding neuropathic type medications could also be benefitial. Additionally, physical therapy, home exercise programs, and/or spinal injections.

Sciatica: There are many treatments for sciatica like heat pads, accupuncture, chiropractic therapy, exercise, massage, medications, injections ... If your pain is not improved, you should seek second opinion from another doctor. You might benefit from a comprehensive evaluation and treatment.
