Usually nothing: In most cases nothing, as it will often resolve on its own. Physical therapy, anti-inflammatories, and activity modification all help to speed up the process. Rarely does pain persist, but when it does patients have other treatment options to help reduce symptoms. A spine specialist such as a physiatrist can prescribe specific exercises depending on the specific cause of sciatica.

Varies: Everybody charges treatments differently can be as low as $1000-2000 but could be as high as $4000-5000. Depends on if done in office, surgical center or even hospital. Much cheaper in office than at hospital or surgical center. Also depends on how many levels done as well. More levels increase the price. Also geographic areas change price as well. Treatments are covered by health insurance
