Meralgia: If the front and lateral side of the thigh feels like it is burning or numb, or crawling with bees, or even painful, it could be meralgia paresthetica. It is a condition that affects the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve where it exits the pelvis in front of the hip. Sigmund freud had it and took Cocaine to combat it.
