Orthopedic Reconstructive Surgery 23 years experience
Usually surgery: Most patients try physical therapy first. However, femoroacetabular impingement is usually best treated with surgery to address both the cause and repair the damage from the impingement. It can often be done arthroscopically but you should find an experienced surgeon.
