C. Albicans, Thrush: Candida albicans is a fungus that is in our intestinal tract ( & vagina of females). The fungus serves a purpose to aid in our digestion and health. Infection can occur when it is out of balance often after antibiotic use. The most common areas to get an infection are the vagina and the mouth where called thrush. It often has an odor & can be painful but is easily treated. See you dentist or md.
