Not a disease: Thrush is not a disease that you 'cure, ' it's a symptom of an underlying problem, and it's the underlying problem that needs to be addressed, whether that's immunosuppression, use of steroids, or poorly controlled diabetes. However, many people think they have thrush, when all they really have is a white coated tongue, which is not a sign of anything except having a white coated tongue.
