My throat is real dry even after i drink lots of water, what does this mean?

Mouth breathing?: Mouth-breathing due to nasal obstruction is a common cause but some people also have dry mouth and throat due to reduced saliva production. The latter may lead to dental cavities if not treated. Be sure you are not taking medications which cause dryness in the mouth.
