Please get help!: Do something now! talk to your family doctor. Ask for a referral to a psychiatrist, to a therapist. So many things to try-- talking therapy, cognitive therapy, medication, deep breathing, meditation, yoga--- these are only a few. Read dr heidi fowler's answers to other questions about anxiety on health tap here. The antidepressants are the first-line meds for chronic anxiety, not benzodiazepines.
