Tick bite: After safe removal of tick, wash hands & wound with soap & hot water. Can relieve pain by use of ice pack. Garlic can be eaten or applied to wound to hasten healing. Tea tree oil relieves itching. Seek medical attention if you develop bullseye (red circle), rash, fever or emesis. Triamcinolone cream is sometimes prescribed to hasten healing.
