Seek care quickly: Nut allergic reactions can be severe and life threatening. Symptoms can occur quickly and progress unless treatment is given. A person with known nut allergy should have with them their self-injectable Epinephrine for use. Pistachio allergy frequently coincides with cashew allergy, so these should be avoided. For food allergy testing and an action plan, see allergist, but er is best now!
