Food allergy: Yes. You can have mild reactions such as abdominal discomfort. Would follow up with allergist for testing. also if allergic always carry 2 benedryl( or get an epipen) on you just in case you have a more severe reaction , you can take 2 benedryl ( if any type of swelling,short of breath0 and call 911

Yes: In case of nuts , the probability of an allergic reaction is high. Since each tree nut is different in allergen content, it is also not surprising that you only have reaction to pistachios. Since the severity of the next reaction is unpredictable, it is best for you to avoid this nut. In case of doubt, consult an allergist to get tested.
