Some options: Try: omega- 3 fatty acids or magnesium (supplementation or through diet) with your doctor’s approval. Avoid caffeine, alcohol, extra salt.

Bloating: Bloating prior to or during your period is often due to fluid retention & slower digestion (constipation). To decrease bloating avoid salt intake (including prepackaged foods), increase water intake (to flush the body & reduce constipation), consider magnesium or calcium supplements (with your physician’s approval) or otc medications that include a diuretic such as midol.
