No.: Seborrheic dermatitis is a very common skin condition. Because it is an overgrowth of yeast (which is normally on the skin of all of us), it does not indicate a systemic condition. Many people with this condition have warmer body temperatures and tend to perspire more than others, both conditions that encourage yeast to grow.
