Difficult to say: Without exam. Brush well, use a tongue scraper and keep oral hygiene technique optimum. You may have taken antibiotics with your tonsillectomy and may have an overgrowth of yeast (candida albacans). Your tongue coating needs to be observed by your surgeon to be sure. Good luck!
