Allergic reactions: An example of a severe and fatal allergic reaction is anaphylaxis. Anaphylaxis reaction can occur to any allergens if you develop an ige mediated sensitivity to them. Typical examples are that of peanut allergy or antibiotic allergies. Symptoms include skin rashes, nauseat, vomitting, difficulty breathing, throat closing, light headedness, hypotension, shock and even death.
