Doubtful: The only way i could see any downside to this is if you picked up a parasite in the lake and got sick.That would not hurt baby directly but might make you struggle for a while.The disadvantage with lakes and ponds comes from the wildlife that comes close to drink. They often drop a little stool in the process and this spreads giardia and e coli.
