Stop coffee take med: Coffee causes gerd. If you have a known history of gerd than im sure you have a bottle of Prilosec or something. Take it as directed. If stopping the coffee and taking the med doesnt help an egd maybe needed. Dont put it off too long . Gerd can lead to a condition called barretts esophagitis and this can lead to cancer.
