Possibly: There may be a genetic component to your stuffiness but it is much more likely that you have allergies, vasomotor rhinitis (stuffiness due to the cold or strenuous activity), structural abnormality such as deviated septum or polyps, medication side effect, sinus infection, rebound from nasal decongestants, or a variety of other possibilities.
