Yes you will heal: Within a few weeks. It is not uncommon to have all four removed at one time. If i were to have root canal therapy i would go to an endodontist, braces - orthodontist. So for wisdom teeth - an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. The procedure should be smooth with sedation and for all four, even fully bony impacted it should take no longer than about 30-40 minutes.

Skill: In the hands of a skilled trained oral and maxillofacial surgeon this is a substantial part of their practice. Very common to have all four removed at once, and the extraction sites usually heal rapidly and completely within a short period of time. Talk over your concerns with the surgeon, but if you have wisdom teeth that need to be removed, go for it...I did.
