I am getting my wisdom teeth pulled soon and the dentist gave me nothing to take, does anything help with the pain?

Yes: If in pain due to your wisdom teeth your dentist will provide antibiotic and pain medication as needed. If you are not in pain than you will be given the medication after your precedures.

YES: I give patients enough Motrin for 3 days@a dose of 800mg three times per day. I also give them 800 mg before we start so it is working before they leave. You should ice ice ice 20 min on and 20 min off for four days including the day of surgery (less swelling less pain).

Post surgery: I'm sure if you are seeing an oral surgeon that he will provide you with post-surgical instructions and pain-med prescriptions when you leave his office. Make sure to follow instructions to the letter.
