Fasting?: A fasting blood sugar of > 99 mg/dl is abnormally high. If the 116 is after eating, then it's normal. With concerns for diabetes, best to have a medical evaluation by doctor to have appropriate assessment of risk factors, physical exam, lab work, and plan.
