NO: No; it might make them urinate more and a lot of coffee can cause bladder irritation but not kidney problems.

Probablably OK : Both in moderation & provided does not interfere with sleep or make teen "hyper", & they dont also drink energy drinks or mountain due (high in caffeine) also coke or pepsi (non caffeine free). Large amounts of caffeine should be avoided. However unlikely to cause kidney problems. They may urinate more frequently, but this is not a kidney problem.
