What should i do to get rid of the itchiness around my scar after scoliosis spinal surgery?

Will resolve in time: This is a common feeling around any surgical scar for about 1-3 months as the nerves near the incision regenerate and heal. If the incision is red or has fluid discharge this can be signs of a wound infection, but infections typically cause more pain/tenderness than itching.

varies: The sensation of 'itchiness' can often accompany a wound that is healing, so it can be a good sign and usually resolves. I have had some patients who have reported success using creams with vitamin e in them. Thank you.
