How fast can i make my nasal polyps go away? medicine or surgery?

Both can work: Medical treatment for nasal polyps can be very effective. This may include allergy treatment, nasal steroid, oral steroids. If the polyps persist then an ENT surgeon may remove them.

Nasal Polyps: Nasal polyps are all about chronic stuffy nose. The best way to shrink polyps is to combine prescription medications, topically applied steroid nose sprays plus oral steroids, like prednisone. If both are used for a period of two - four weeks, there is a fighting chance polyps will disappear.

Get evaluation: Nasal polyps can be caused by several different things, and depending on what, they respond differently. Some can shrink with medication and others require surgery, so the best thing is to see an otolaryngologist (ENT) for a full evaluation and discussion of the treatment options.

Surgery: Surgery is faster, but medicine sometimes works.
