Could be many things: Pain of any kind is an indicator that there is cause to see a doctor. My advise would be to see your dentist or prosthodontist first. They will be able to check your teeth & gums to make sure there is no infection, & also evaluate the function of your jaws for TMJ disorder. You may also consider visiting an ear, nose and throat doctor for evalution of the sinus and rule out infection. Best!

Facial pain: Tmj or temporomandibular joint dysfunction, may be responsible for your pain. Please see your physician and or dentist to rule out other possibilities- tumors, abscessed tooth, sinus infection etc.

Many causes: There are many causes of facial pain- trauma, infection, tmj/tmd, side effect from meds, etc. If it lasts for awhile, i would see your doctor.
