Yes: Ear infections commonly come with colds, which can have stuffy/runny nose and make it hard for you to breathe through your nose. However, if you have a tendency for asthma and/or allergies, both of these can also occur with ear infections and both can affect breathing. If you are having problems breathing, see a doctor.
