Maybe: It's not normal to vomit blood. Whether you die from it depends on why you're vomiting blood. The cause ranges from benign (throat irritation) to esophageal/blood vessels tears to infection or cancer. Please have a discussion with your doctor for proper evaluation.

Yes: You could have an ulcer that isn't bleeding that bad right now. However, if ignored, the ulcer can worsen leading to a hemorrhage from an underlying blood vessel. Mortality is increased in this setting.
