To much wind for a baby before three weeks old will cause colic. is that true or a cultural thing?

Old wives tales: The wind blowing by an infant has nothing to do with their pattern of fussiness. Some would have you believe that it causes them to swallow more air & get bloated. In fact, crying itself often leads to air swallowing so a fussy baby requires no extra wind to do the deed.
