A member asked:

What test should one make after two weeks of sexual relation to know if he is infected by aids? is it p24?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Question unclear: If you are referring to your male sexual partner he should go to the health department and have HIV antibody testing performed. You can measure p14 antigen or better, if you don't mind the cost, have an hiv/rna pcr done. Good luck. You should not be having unprotected sex with anyone until they have been tested and only if they are in a monogamous relationship with you.
