Eye strain: Since the widespread use of digital devices by young children for prolonged periods of time I am noticing an upward trend of myopia ( near sightedness ) in children. Watching a computer screen for long periods of time blinking reflex decreases :surface of eye gets "dry " with lack of proper tear film. Looking at near objects for 10 hours! at a stretch locks eyes in convergence causing discomfort.
