Drowsiness could be : A side effect of his medications, a sign of sleep apnea, fatigue, exhaustion etc. Let him see his dr right away. Please tell him not to drive a vehicle until this problem is resolved. We don't want him to get hurt or hurt someone in an mva. God bless you!

Eval now: I agree with dr bonuel. He may be suffering from narcolepsy amongst other things. This is dangerous and warrants prompt medical evaluation.
