Not really: Most upper arm lift procedures are done under general anesthesia. Therefore beside the intravenous needle you should not feel any other needle.

Minimal.: After the IV is started, you should feel/remember very little. For the right patient, the armlifting procedure is generally a very patient pleasing operation. Best wishes.
