Yes: Wegener's will not go away. It might take time but will ultimately cause severe lung and kidney problems, and death. Treatment can be very effective.

Yes: Wegener's is 100% fatal untreated, and it is not gentle or fast. Thankfully, the vast majority of people with wegener's get excellent results with today's treatments, and eventually the treated disease often remits.
